Looking for a place to eat?

As far as food goes, get ready. Costa Rica has very fresh and delicious food all around to choose from. Casado being the main local dish(rice, beans, meat, salad, and plantains) can be found in almost every restaurant. With that being said you can find basically any region of food desired(pizza, burgers, seafood, and many more). First mate Eduardo owns a local family-run restaurant here in Flamingo (Flamingo Flavors) where they will prepare your fresh catch of the day or gladly serve one of their delightful dishes from the menu. 

• A couple of other local restaurants we suggest are:

  • Estero Azul, beachfront in playa Flamingo overlooking the boats (local style)  

  • *El Huerto playa grande, the best pizza I've ever had highly recommend 

  • Pinto Quemado in playa grande, live band with full kitchen/menu on Saturdays (suggested)

  • Los Malinches restaurant in palm beach, best tacos and great local environment (highly recommended) 

  • Mar Azul in palm beach in front of the surf camp, close to the beach and great food and service 

  • Angelina’s in Flamingo, good service and environment

  • The Shack here locally in potrero good all-around food and drinks  

  • *Gracia in Mar Vista, amazing infinity pool with swim up pool bar and delicious restaurant, also a great spot for sunset

  • Top Spritz has some good pizza and pasta in Flamingo

  • *El Tiki, Chef Roy has amazing fresh food and offers private catch and cook dinners

  • Hazels, inside the marina, first class dinning and service

  • Flamingo Flavors/ La Cabana, our mate Eduardos local restaurant
